Early Childhood Instructor / Chief Instructor

The Beibi Akatemia is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) center located in the heart of Baku. The Center aims to provide a quality education for infants and toddlers (0-3 years old) in accordance with international standards. We are looking for a highly motivated instructor to join our friendly, vibrant, and dynamic team. Recent early childhood program graduates as well as alumni of international exchange programs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

· Plan and implement activities that meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of their students

· Provide a classroom environment that encourages parent participation

· Communicate with parents and discussing their children’s development

· Maintain and schedule weekly and monthly activities

· Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior using electronic portfolios

· Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

· Undertake administrative tasks as required

· Payment – 3.5 AZN per hour rate, pro rata for each day

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Passion to work with infants and toddlers (0 – 3 years old)

· 1 to 3 years of experience working in a childcare setting is desired

· Good command of English and Russian required

· Good organizational and teamwork skills

· Sound written and verbal communication skills in three languages

· A good level of computer literacy

· Basic First Aid knowledge is desirable

· Professional caregiver diploma/license holders are given preference

Instructor’s Work Schedule

· Twenty work hours a week, weekends included.

· One day off a week per agreement (except for Saturday and Sunday).

· Primary work hours – 09:00 – 12:00, extended work hours as required

· Three month probation period
